WE NEED MORE OF THESE STORIES!! Truly, imagine the encouragement we could all offer by sharing our moments of self-control and revelation in a world full of people saying we absolutely need to buy something!
That’s a long way of saying; thanks for sharing! I love learning how other people shop. I think the idea of barriers is so helpful in shopping (in your case a physical/mental barrier) and makes me want to put more guardrails up for me to prevent buyers remorse.
Thank you sooo much for your thoughtful comment, seriously made my day ❤️ I totally agree! Obsessed with hearing/reading more about the thinking behind why people purchase the items they do, I think it's so interesting. Having rules/guardrails has been a game changer for me, would definitely recommend if you're trying to break a pattern of impulse purchasing!!
As an intentional shopper, I really love seeing these posts!! Lately, I’ve been keep my shopping at a curb by creating wishlists and noteworthy lists. Sometimes I find adding the item to a list gives me the same feeling as adding to cart.
As someone who took 12 months to purchase a brighter-than-my-normal blue cashmere sweater - I love these types of posts. It's interesting to hear the different questions people ask themselves to make these types of decisions, by slowing down and doing a little self reflection, you can almost make a decision you feel good about faster? does that make sense 😂 either way! loved this Bri!
